I grew up with my mother making ham salad sandwiches.
These sandwiches are super easy to make and taste great not only as a sandwich filling but also as a dip for crackers or toasted bread.
For a less sweeter version, omit the Miracle Whip and brown sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ham, cut into large cubes leftover ham works great!
- ½ C mayonnaise
- ¼ C Miracle Whip
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- ½ C sweet relish
- black pepper, freshly ground
- pinch cayenne
Instructions
- If you have a meat grinder attachment for your KitchenAid, this is the perfect time to use it. Alternatively, you can place the ham in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Combine the chopped ham with the remaining ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to marry.
